Scholars joins MGC’s perovskite solar-cell demonstration project in Niigata
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC), selected for Niigata City’s perovskite solar-cell demonstration program, will work with EneCoat Technologies Co., Ltd. and Scholars on a demonstration of stand-alone IoT power using perovskite solar cells integrated with high-performance polycarbonate components.
The project will test stand-alone IoT operation in an ice arena—a large indoor space with low temperatures and low light levels—to evaluate its potential for practical deployment.
